News flash!

Lois has been missing for quite some time, but she is back and ready to start blogging.

Just posted on my craft page, now I will try to get a quick post on here.

Since I last posted, I have retired, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and it has been just over a year since they told him he only had a year.

We are moving along. Trying not to pay any attention to where we are in that time line. we have done many things, both natural and chemical, as in chemo and radiation. He has good days and bad, but still seems to be doing pretty good as far as I am concerned. He does have trouble getting enough air and tires very easily, but seems to be in no pain, which I am thankful for. He gets around freely, without help and has totally retained his senses. Today, though, he was complaining about a smell/taste that is in his mouth. Says it is horrible. I asked him what it tasted like and he said, "death."

As I start to post maybe on a daily or weekly basis, I will go more into how he is doing, and how things are effecting him.

Until then, have a good day and hopefully I will talk at ya soon.

Soooo Long!!!

I can't believe it's been so long since I have been here. I seem to think about coming here when things are really bad for me. Right now, I am so depressed and I can't seem to find my way out. It feels like everyday something else comes down on me. There are so many things wrong in my life right now that I can't think straight. Well, gotta go. Can't even find time to put my thoughts down on paper.

Oh My Gosh Becky!!!

I cannot believe it has been so long since I have been here. So much has happened.

I am still at the post office. Whew. Cannot believe I was able to make it there. Starting out there at 52 is some tough job. But I made it.

I have a new grand-daughter. Payten Nicole. She is already 9 months old. And here she is!!!

Is she beautiful or what? That was taken right after she was born.

And my baby, Brianna, is 16 already, driving a car and growing into such a beautiful young lady.

Well, I guess that is all for now. Came here by accident and stayed long enough to leave a note.

Day on Tom's Yacht

Here is a picture of Tom and his friend Lori. I am not sure if I am spelling her name right. Anyway. This is them. I am going to be adding these pictures one a day for a while I guess because it takes a while to upload them.

Well, gotta go and get ready for work. Have a good day. (Say that to all the people on my route.)lol

And its almost the end of February.

Well here it is almost the end of February. I haven't been here for a long time.

I am getting ready to go to work for the post office and boy am I scared. I am scared about a lot of things. Can I learn to drive a right sided vehicle, can I deal with the weather, can I be fast enough. Can I learn a new job at 52? So much to worry about. But the pay should be sooooo good. I have never had a job that payed so good. So I have to give it a try.

I am really excited about the change. Life has been kind of boring lately. Except for the excitement that Brianna keeps bringing into my life.

We had to find a home for our Sadie. But I think she will be a lot happier there. She will get a lot more attention.

Well, gotta go. Gotta get to work at my now job, the restaurant.
